BY JEAN-GEORGES-REMOND & CIE. (FL. 1804-1811), MARKED, GENEVA UNDER FRENCH OCCUPATION, 1805-1815, STAMPED WITH THE THIRD FRENCH STANDARD MARK FOR GOLD, 1798-1809
A SWISS GOLD BONBONNIERE BY JEAN-GEORGES-REMOND & CIE. (FL. 1804-1811), MARKED, GENEVA UNDER FRENCH OCCUPATION, 1805-1815, STAMPED WITH THE THIRD FRENCH STANDARD MARK FOR GOLD, 1798-1809 circular box, the independent cover and base engine-turned with sun-burst pattern and diaperwork forming a six-pointed star centred by a circular reserve engraved with a flowerhead within reeded borders, the matted borders of the cover chased with trailing foliage and clovers, the sides engine-turned with reeding 2¼ in. (60 mm.) diam. 1 5/8 oz. (48 gr.)
