* A Stainless Steel Chronograph Wristwatch, Girard-Perregaux, 38.00 mm case diameter, bicolor black dial signed Girard-Perregaux, luminous index numerals, silvered luminous baton hands with center chronograph seconds hand, cream subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock for chronograph minutes, chronograph hours and small seconds respectively, bidirectional turning bezel calibrated to 60 units, polished tonneau case, screw on case back, Valjoux Cal. 72 manual wind 17 jewel movement, black leather strap with steel tang buckle. Estimate $ 300-500 Property from the Estate of John F. Norwood, St. Louis, Missouri The watch winds, sets and runs but has not been timed for accuracy. The chronograph seconds and minutes progress correctly and reset to zero (hours were not tested). The crystal has scattered scratches that are not readily eye visible. There is noticeable deterioration and discoloration to the luminous coating of the index numerals. Light scuff marks to the subdials. Light wear and minimal loss to the enamel of the turning bezel consistent with age and use. The case has light scratches that are not easily eye visible.
