The hull with painted main and second wales, red-painted gun port lids with brass guns, chain plates and deadeyes, carved stern and quarter galleries, is secured to a straw work base attached within a contemporary mirror-backed straw work display case with glazed sides and hinged front panel, bone finials and feet.
