A SMALL COMPLETE CLAY FOUNDATION CONE, with Sumerian text "Sin-Kashid the powerful male, king of Uruk, the king of Amnanum, provisioner of Eanna, built his royal palace", reign of Sin-Kashid, 1865-1804 B.C., 3.7cm. diam., 6cm. long; an Ur III tablet, receipt for a large number of bundles of reeds and their weights, with impression of seal of Ur-nungal, damage to one side and corner, reign of Shu-Sin, year 1, 2037 B.C., from Umma, 5.6 x 4.5 x 1.1cm.; another administrative tablet concerning the wool trade, damaged at corners, 600-400 B.C., 9.4 x 5.1 x 2.5cm.; a bitumen fragment formed between clay tablets during the firing process, with the last 5 lines of a brick inscription for King Amar-Suena, 2046-2038 B.C., 6.6 x 5cm. max.; and a flint sponge fossil, all in an Indian wooden box with ivory and ebony inlay (5)
