Comprising The Bromide Lamp by Marion & Co, London, with oil burner and featuring filters for pan and ortho film; an un-named Magic Lantern Lecturers Lamp. The angled reflector of which allows a lecturer to illuminate their 'reading' notes. At the base is a bell to inform the projectionist when to change to the next slide. Alternatively lifting a lever on the rear exposes a red window to give a visual slide change indication. Also a French ruby coloured glass 'chimney' to convert an oil lamp into a darkroom lamp, in makers' box. Provenance: The Bob White Collection.
