Each with 12 1/8 inch tapered round .62 caliber barrel with narrow sighting rib, the breeches with maker's marks comprising: a helmeted head, a horse and comet and eight fleur de lys. Rounded lockplates indistinctly signed G. Pelegrini (sic), the cocks and tails chiseled with leafy scrolls. Steel furniture engraved and chiseled with acanthus and leafy C-scrolls. Full stocks covered with Ottoman silver panels; the barrel panels chased with florals and featuring narrow bands engraved with a woven design and surmounted by pierced panels, the top of the grips with gilt silver panels set with numerous fluted coral stones. Fore-ends fitted with bone ramrod tips. Condition: Very good. Barrels and locks showing areas of light pitting and wear to markings. Barrel marks retain traces of gold filling. Muzzles slightly reduced. Silver mounts with scattered minor marks, one with small piece missing to right side at muzzle and larger piece missing to left of barrel tang. This gun also missing the barrel tang screw. See Illustration
