A MUGHAL VOIDED SILK AND METAL THREAD VELVET BORDER INDIA, LATE 17TH CENTURY/EARLY 18TH CENTURY The cream ground originally of silver thread woven with with an elegant meander of red and pink carnations and roses with green palmettes, bordered with bands of smaller floral scrolls and lines of chevrons, made of two panels sewn together, areas of slight wear and some fraying 7 3/8 x 55½in. (18.5 x 141cm.)
