Both dresses bear interior labels inscribed, "Robert Carlton" and second labels inscribed "The Workroom / 623 No. La Cienega Blvd. / Los Angeles /," the peach dress of which is also inscribed, "For / Mitzi Gaynor 4-26-61." Accompanied by a cream-colored three-layered silk skirt with a silk bow at the waist. The peach version of this stunning design was worn by Mitzi in the opening number of her very first nightclub performance in Las Vegas at the Flamingo Hotel in 1961, an incredible professional triumph for Mitzi which allowed her to display her flair for comedy and singing as well as dancing.
