A MEISSEN TWO-HANDLED BEAKER AND SAUCER AND A MEISSEN BEAKER The beaker and saucer circa 1740, with blue crossed swords marks, the saucer with Pressnummer 2, the cup circa 1735, with black enamel crossed swords mark All painted in the manner of Johann Ehrenfried Stadtler , the two-handled beaker and saucer with exotic insects in flight above bearded Orientals on terraces with ornamental fences and flowering shrubs, the borders at the rim of the interior rim of the beaker and rim of the saucer with half flowerheads divided by iron-red diaper panels enriched with gilding; the second beaker with a loop handle, painted with three sprays of indianische Blumen below a moulded double line border, the upper part similarly decorated with a female Oriental, the border at the rim of the interior with half flowerheads divided by panels with iron-red diaper ornament and puce flowerheads 5¼in.
