Comprising: 1) Keris, south Suluwesi, 19th century, straight 14 inch pamur blade of simple form; brass mendak, cast and chased with rows of faceted bosses framing a band of meander; wooden Bugis hilt; wooden scabbard of simple form. 2) Algerian jambiya, early 20th century, 9 1/4 inch curved blade with notched and engraved decoration below spine; brass-inlaid hilt and scabbard of typical form. 3) Sudanese dagger, late 19th century, straight 8 3/4 inch double edged and fullered blade with engraved inscription; flared wooden hilt with copper wire-bound grip below five turned rings and wheel pommel; and reptile skin-covered scabbard. Condition: 1) Blade worn and showing light pitting; hilt cracked; scabbard with curdled finish, the throat with losses. 2) Blade showing some corrosion. 3) Blade with some light pitting; pommel chipped; scabbard covering worn, the scabbard missing the arm cords.
