Lot consist of (A) Colt open Top Pocket Model single action revolver. Made 1874. Patent date on top of the barrel reads "COLTS PT.F.A MFG CO. /HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." Serials on the butt and barrel match. Round steel barrel with half moon sight. Blued finish worn to a patina on the barrel and cylinder with light scroll engraving. Hammer has been fire blued. Polished brass frame with scroll engraving on both sides. White pearl grips. In green velvet lined wood case with gun B in this lot. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its finish with light wear. Grips are excellent. Bore has minor pitting, but retains good rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Excellent timing and lock up. Mechanically fine. Wood case is very good with light handling marks. Includes homemade wood display box with red velvet lining. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its reapplied finish. Grips are very good with light wear. Bore is frosted with fair rifling.
