A large Victorian brown painted sheet metal flour bin Circa 1870 Of demi-lune outline, the front applied with a cast iron mount, modelled in the form of sheaves of wheat and inscribed FLOUR 30in. (76cm.) high; And a collection of fifteen various buscuit and other vending tins, including; a pair of Huntley & Palmer's biscuit tins, modelled in the form of bound volumes; a biscuit or sweet tin inscribed THE WINNING POST the outer tin with an aperture to the side, revealing a rotating inner drum painted with race horses; a biscuit tin modelled as a violin case; another Huntley & Palmer's biscuit tin in the form of an artists pallet; a pair of cast iron and copper scales; and a paper bound pine cigarette vending box inscribed THE PEERLESS BRAND CIGARETOS, MANUFACTURED BY COPE BRO'S & CO. , further inscribed 1000 MILD CIGARETTES (19)
