A LARGE SPINACH-GREEN JADE VASE AND COVER QIANLONG (1736-1795) The flattened circular body raised on a spreading base and rising to a short waisted neck, carved to either side with elaborate S-scroll handles, the body carved in crisp low relief with small blossoming hibiscus and scrolling leafy vines issuing from a central hibiscus blossom, the domed cover carved en suite , the stone a dark green with lighter and darker inclusions 10¾ in. (27.2 cm.) high
