A large mixed lot, including the following modern silver:- a small salver with a shell and scroll border, initialled - 22cm dia; another of shaped square outline, inscribed - 25cm wide; a wine goblet, inscribed* - 14cm high; a cigarette box, inscribed - 13cm long; a mug, inscribed* - 9cm high; a toast rack - 7.5cm long; a sauce boat on three feet with a gadrooned border; an oblong spirit flask - 15cm high; a mounted glass spirit flask, (cover loose); an engine turned cigar case of rounded oblong form - 14cm long; an oblong cigarette box with a border of rampant lions and fleur de lys motifs, inscribed* - 16.5cm long; together with a Victorian goblet on a pedestal foot, by Stephen Smith 1868 - 17cm high; another similar with an applied oak leaf wreath cartouche, makers mark worn, Birmingham 1861 ; three teaspoons; and a quantity of bronze, metalware and plated coins, badges and medallions, (approxiamately 90 items), 86oz weighable silver. *these inscriptions relate to the York and Lancaster Regiment.
