A LARGE FINELY CARVED AND PIERCED SPINACH-GREEN JADE BRUSH POT, BITONG QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795) The thick cylindrical walls of the brush pot are finely carved and pierced to depict two deer and a pair of cranes in a continuous rocky landscape scene with tall pine and willow trees. The stone is of a rich deep green colour with darker inclusions to some areas. 7½ in. (19 cm.) diam.
