A GROUP OF TWENTY FOUR WALKING STICKS, CANES AND PARASOLS 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY Comprising: an ivory and malacca "Napoleon Phantom Profile" Cane with a turned ivory top projecting the emperor's profile in a low light; a "flute" cane with a velvet lined case; a french bamboo walking stick with flower and fruit picking mechanism marked Cueille Fleur/Cueille Fruit A.D. ; a Japanese "fishing pole" cane incised with Geishas; a green stained cane with a bell marked Harrods ; an adjusting rod with brass mounts; an Austrian "umbrella" cane with faux-amber terrier handle; an ebonized walking stick with a carved hardstone handle in the form of a shell; a "Magician's Table" cane with a folding metal table with pleated silk skirt, signed Arjays , (lacking handle) a parasol with an amboyna wood carved handle in the form of a duck; a "writing set" riding crop with a silver plated handle having chased fox decoration, enclosing a pen and inkwell; a birch wood walking stick with a brass handle; a fruitwood turned cane with a silver mounted horn handle; a silver and horn handled cane, the collar monogrammed T.B. ; a tortoiseshell walking stick with a spiral cast silver handle; an Anglo-Indian cane, inlaid with leaves and scrolls; an ebonized walking stick with a brass mounted tortoiseshell handle with a compartment; an English silver and ebony conductor's baton inscribed H.
