A group of Saturday Evening Girls / Paul Revere ceramics Print Early 20th century Each marked to underside Comprising: a bowl with rabbit exterior border and inscribed ''Anne / Her Bowl'' to interior, marked: SEG / 8-23 / with crossed circle for Edith Brown, (4.5'' Dia.); a bowl with tortoise and hare exterior border, inscribed: ''The race is not to the swift'', marked: L SEG / 364-10-10 / CG in rectangular box for Celia Goodman (5.5'' Dia.); a high gloss lotus bowl in blue, marked: SEG / 176-3-10 / AP in rectangular box with Wed just below (5'' Dia.); a high-gloss bowl with windmill motif, marked: SEG / 408-1-10 / RB in rectangular box for Rose Bacchini (5'' Dia.); a plate with chick motif, marked: SEG in a bowl shape / 109-6-09 / LS in rectangular box for Lili Shapiro (6.25'' Dia.); a creamer decorated with three geese, marked: SEG (2.75'' H x 4.75'' W); a matching creamer and plate in yellow with rabbit medallion, each marked SEG / 3-22 / with artist's initials *B (plate: 6.25'' Dia.; creamer: 4'' H x 4'' W); and a pair high-gloss geese mugs, marked with underglaze Paul Revere stamp (each: 3.75'' H x 4.25'' W), 10 pieces Provenance: The Estate of Tammis Day, Sula, MT. Condition: Rabbit bowl: overall good condition. Tortoise and hare: with small chip to rim and a 1.5'' non-penetrating hairline to interior. Lotus bowl: with interior caraquelure commensurate with age. Windmill bowl: with interior craquelure commensurate with age; green glaze to base with small firing bubbles. Yellow rabbit creamer broken into several peices and glued, in need of restoration; plate with small compression to edge.
