A GROUP OF JADE, HARDSTONES AND CERAMICS, comprising a malachite archaistic gu -form vase-- 4¾ in. high ; a russet mottled and creamy jade brushwasher, carved with a branch of flowering prunus, bats and cloud scrolls-- 4¾ in. long ; a jadeite snuff bottle, the rounded rectangular bottle of dark olive tone with emerald splashes; a jadeite butterfly pendant-- 2¾ in. wide ; a green jade double gourd-form coupe-- 2 5/8 in. long ; a small pale green pouring vessel-- 4 in. long over spout ; thirteen variously coloured cabochons; a whitish-grey and black veined lotus-form coupe, carved with a dragon and lotus-- 3¼ in. long ; a russet belt buckle-- 2¼ in. long ; a variegated brown blade-- 5 in. long ; a brown flaring axe blade-- 3½ in. long ; a creamy square seal with domed finial, uncarved-- 1 3/8 in. ; a brown mottled rectangular scroll weight, with calligraphic inscription-- 7¾ in. long ; a black bi with carved dragon-- 1½ in. diam. ; a brown mottled bead carved with dragon-- 2 in. long ; a grey and creamy white flat bead carved with stylised decoration-- 1 1/8 in. long ; a greenish circular disk-- 1¾ in. diam. ; a green and russet fingering piece-- 3 in. long ; a square seal with a domed top, uncarved-- 7/8 in. ; a green flat oval fitting-- 3 in. long ; thirteen miniature beads, pendants and fittings; together with a small robin's egg blue-glazed hu -form jar with mask handles-- 3½ in. high ; a mirror black-glazed double gourd vase-- 3 1/8 in. high ; a sang-de-boeuf-glazed double gourd vase-- 3 in. high ; an emerald green-glazed meiping vase, with metal rim-- 3 7/8 in. high ; and a green-glazed Buddhistic lion joss stick holder-- 2 in. high ; together with a celadon-glazed conical bowl, Song dynasty, the exterior with lightly moulded ribs and slightly indented lip-- 6 in. diam.
