A German parcel-gilt ewer Mark of Hans Lambrecht III, Hamburg, 1664-70 The domed base on three foliate scroll feet, the stem formed as the standing figure of Samson holding the jawbone of an ass and supporting a shaped bowl with scroll handle and covered spout with heart shaped aperture, the bowl with detachable cover, parcel-gilt and chased on the foot, bowl and cover with flowers and scrolling foliage, marked on foot 45.5 cm. high 1,924 gr.
