A GEORGE III IRISH SILVER TWO-HANDLED CUP MARK OF MATTHEW WEST, DUBLIN, 1778 Baluster with leaf-capped scroll handles, the domed foot chased with a stiff-leaf border, the sides chased in relief with a hen and three chicks on one side and two birds on the other, above which are drapery swags centred by a vacant wreath cartouche, gilt interior, inscribed underneath with scratch-weight 36 - 11½ 8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) high 27 oz. (838 gr.)
