A GEORGE I CAUDLE-CUP AND AN IRISH GEORGE III CREAM-JUG, the first with maker's mark of Joseph Bell I, London, 1717, Britannia Standard; the cream-jug Dublin, 1798, maker's mark worn; partly fluted cylindrical with flaring rim, the shoulder chased with cord band centering engraved oval within chased and punched rocaille cartouche, punched with stylized foliate bands, with two scroll handles-- 3½in. (8.8cm.) high, 6oz. ; the straight sided oval cream-jug with fluted corners and two bright-cut bands centering on two sides vacant shield-shaped cartouche, with upswept handle-- 5½in. (13.9cm.) high, 5.5oz.
