Circa 1890 The cariatides case cast in relief with foliate designs and with figures to each angle, mounted with dark crimson Limoges style panels to each side and to the rear door, decorated in pale shades with half-naked females to the sides and with a flowering classical urn to the rear, the conforming dial embellished with floral scrolls and bellflowers, with Roman chapter ring and gilt hands, the single barrel movement with gilt platform to lever escapement with bimetallic balance, the back plate with punched stamp for Drocourt and numbered 19481 , with repeat number to the base plate 3 1/16in.
