A framed group of Native American objects Print Late 19th/early 20th century Framed within a Lucite museum case, comprising: a circa 1890s beaded Plateau flat bag with floral motif; a circa 1890s Nez Perce beaded floral-motif bag with fringe, black wool; a Chippewa Cree man's beaded harness belt with lazy stitch geometric motif, blue ground; an early 20th century beaded floral-motif sewing case with stroud cloth piping; a circa 1925 Flathead beaded horse ornament martingale, triangles on a blue ground; a heart-shaped beaded floral-motif ornament/medallion; and a dated 1917 Nez Perce cornhusk bag with pine tree motif, 7 pieces Overall: 60.25'' H x 24.25'' W x 4.5'' D Prov Provenance: The Collection of Mrs. Phyllis Twogood; by descent to Trudie Twogood Lyons; The Estate of Tammis Day, Sula, MT, acquired from the above.The Nez Perce beaded floral-motif bag: The Collection of Maggie Haines Williams, a Nez Perce woman (see also lot 1201); The Collection of Mrs. Phyllis Twogood; by descent to Trudie Twogood Lyons; The Estate of Tammis Day, Sula, MT, acquired from the above. Exhibitions: Ravalli County Museum, Hamilton, MT. Notes: Lot accompanied by Lucite museum display key/placard. Condition: Apparently overall good condition with minor wear, darkening, and some apparent minor stiffening to leather elements commensurate with age. Items not examined out of the frame.
