Distinguished Property from Osterrieth House in AntwerpA Flemish Baroque gilt-metal mounted ebony, rosewood, tortoiseshell, ivory, inlaid and carved cabinet-on-stand, probably Antwerp, late 17th century the doors enclosing a fitted architectural interior with drawers and with two central doors with a further mirrored interior, overall elaborately panelled and set with gilt figural, caryatid and pierced mounts, on a later stand, restorations183cm. high, 120cm. wide, 49cm. deep; 6ft., 3ft. 11 1/4 in., 1ft. 7 1/4 in.Condition ReportIn overall good restored condition. The gilt metal mounts in overall good condition. Some replacements to tortoiseshell and ivory - this is not distracting. The rosewood veneers with very minor scratches, age craquelure and scuffs consistent with age and use. The bottom of both sides with veneer liftings, which has resulted on the left side with one minor veneer loss. One border moulding detached to one drawer inside on the right handside -this would benefit from being re-attached. Three keys. Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The
