A FINE YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE MEDALLION BOWL GUANGXU IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908) The bowl is potted with deep curved sides rising to a straight rim, enamelled in bright tones with four roundels containing vases with auspicious flowers and ears of grain, beside lanterns and precious objects outlined in gilt and reserved on a yellow ground with fruiting and flowering gourd vines. The white-ground interior has similar dense designs to the exterior. Both inner and outer rims are encircled by keyfret. 5 3/8 in. (13.5 cm.) diam., box
