A 19th Century Chinese polychrome decorated vase, decorated in relief with household objects, vases of flowers, fans, tongs and furniture on a shagreen style ground in oxide red, raised on flared foot, 58.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Surface scratches, accretions, build-up of dirt in areas. There is a crack approximately 2" long on the inside of the rim of the vase. There are two chips on the underside of the flared rim. Areas of the painted circle decoration are missing. There are some small chips and wear on the applied decoration. Some staining, discolouration, accretions, general wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
