Also included are a black and white photograph by Ray Jones of Janet Gaynor on the beach near Venice, California, signed by the actress and dated 1935 on lower right corner; an unsigned landscape photograph of Shirley Temple in bridal gown with the crew of HMS Danae and a photograph of the ship's crew taken on the set of the 1935 Fox film 'Farmer Takes a Wife' starring Janet Gaynor and Henry Fonda. (4) Provenance: the photographs were collected by the grandfather of the vendor, who served in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer on HMS Danae during a tour in the USA.
