Autograph Letter Signed (“Howard Pyle”), 9 pp, 8vo, Wilmington, DE, January 18,1888, to Mrs. Dickenson, declining to send a photograph but instead including a delightful fairy tale about the King of Nowhere, pages toned and thumbed; together with typed transcript of letter and printed excerpt from Howard Pyle A Chronicle 2. Typed Manuscript, 5 pp, 4to, n.p., [c.1890], prospectus for a magazine article on why American Art is not as successful as European Art, pages 1 and 5 with toning, soiling, and creasing, all leaves with perforations at upper left corners. Apparently unpublished. 3. Typed Manuscript, 18 pp, 4to, n.p., [c.1906], being a script titled “Eagleroost: A Scheme for a Twelfth Night Setting at the Century Association,” pages lightly thumbed, creased horizontally at center, bound in tan wraps with brads, covers thumbed and docketed in pencil. With printed program for Centuria Jests Twelfth Night at Eagleroost illustrated by Pyle, plus printed sheet music of Century Association Twelfth Night Choral Minstrelry.
