2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S Lot Number234 RegistrationMX05 ECZ Chassis NumberSCFAC14305B501571 Engine NumberAM06/10034 Odometer reading34,681 miles Estimate£94,000 - £102,000 Print details Send this to a friend A total of 1,086 Vanquish S models were manufactured between 2005 and 2007 and the car on sale here is one of the last cars produced with the more desirable revised dashboard with big screen sat nav. The Vanquish S debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show and offered a power increase from 460bhp to 520bhp, other changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape, new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler and the addition of a small front splitter for aerodynamic reasons which help the Vanquish S boast an improved drag coefficient. The car also featured an optional Sports Dynamic Package which incorporated sportier suspension, steering and larger brakes than the slandered V12 Vanquish. With a top speed exceeding 200mph, the Vanquish S was, at the time, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced. Aston Martins have always been at the forefront of many distinguished automotive enthusiasts collections, with iconic shapes that are permanently etched into our minds. The popular first generation Vanquish S is no exception, having been designed by the highly regarded Marek Reichman and Ian Callum. A Vanquish S sits as a significant model in any line-up, and this particular example is no exception, having been part of a very important Aston Martin collection in Europe. This particular car is a low mileage 2+2 example that has been fastidiously maintained. Finished in the ultimate colour combination of Jet Black Metallic with two-tone black and red interior, the car is in excellent cosmetic condition. There is extensive leather upholstery, which is in superb condition, with only minor wear to the seats. The leather dashboard is in excellent shape and unmarked, as are the leather door trims, centre console and rear seats, which appear scarcely used. All four wheels are in excellent condition with virtually new tyres. The car is powerful, with an absolutely fantastic exhaust noise, sure-footed and easy to drive and use while still feeling special and unique.
