It succeeded the Ferrari F355 and is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8 powered coupé. Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilises a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite seemingly modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena followed later by the 360 Spider and finally as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. There was a total of 991 right hand drive 360 Spiders delivered to the UK with 478 of them fitted with the manual gearbox. This wonderful Ferrari 360 Spider F1 was registered new on 10th March 2004 and was supplied in Rosso Corsa paintwork over a Crema leather interior. Complete with a continuous and recorded service record, the Ferrari was most recently treated to a cambelt change and annual service in February 2021 by Kent High Performance Cars. Having resided in a private collection for some time the 360 has been stored in a bespoke facility where it is exercised and maintained regularly. Supplied with a V5C registration document, various MoT test certificates, the original complete book pack, toolkit, a compressor, two keys and a service history folder containing sundry invoices and a current MoT test certificate valid until March 2022. The Ferrari 360 Spider F1 is superb to look at and even better to drive.
