Spain, and South America as Amazone America, in fishskin-covered case with cartouche A Correct Globe with the New Constellations of Dr. Halley &c. and two sets of twelve delicately colored gores, and two polar calottes, representing the upper and lower celestial hemispheres, with Ecliptic divided by the days of the Zodiacal calendar, and the Constellations represented as mythical beasts and figures, (terrestrial with approx. 3/8 inch missing section at North Pole, some hairline splits and overall darkening, celestial with old split at one hinge).
