1d. lilac Die II '16 dots', S.G.K8, the range comprising 1d. lilac SPECIMEN Type 12 (B.P.A. Certificate 2007); 1d. lilac block of 9, original gum, also a single from the foot of the sheet without the marginal rule; 1d. bluish lilac with a light Pontrilas circular date stamp; Watermark inverted 1d. two blocks of 4 in different shades; Offsets on the reverse with two 1d. singles and a horizontal pair, Offset on the obverse 1d. an unused single (R.P.S. Certificate 1989); 1d. Frame break Row 1/2 in a corner pair and a corner strip of 3 (R.P.S. Certificate 1984), also a vertical pair and a block of 4 with other frame flaws; 1d. lilac Bisected diagonally and used on a small piece; 1d. lilac block of 4 with large purple CANCELLED; 1d. lilac tied to a small piece with the Galway date stamp and Mail Bag intaglio seal; 1d. Printed both sides (mounted on the gummed side); 1d. block of 9 with purple framed BURUTU cancellations of the Royal Niger Company and a block of 6 with British Army Field Post Office in South Africa cancellations; Inland Revenue blocks of 4 with thick and thin overprints and finally a single 1d. with a Pre-printing paper fold, original gum; generally fine to very fine. AN ATTRACTIVE RANGE WHICH WOULD FORM THE BASIS FOR AN INTERESTING COLLECTION.
