Beschreibung:

Introduced in 1958, Honda’s classic C100 Cub ‘step-thru’ was better built, more powerful and more reliable than the majority of contemporary mopeds, while endowed with handling superior to that of the small-wheeled scooter. The first sports derivative, the C110 Sports Cub, appeared in October 1960. This was a proper small motorcycle, with spine frame and a more powerful version of the C100 motor having a higher compression ratio and an alloy cylinder head. Larger-capacity models soon followed and in 1964 an overhead-cam version of the engine was introduced on the CS90 sports, with 50cc and 65cc derivatives arriving in 1965. This CS65 has enjoyed only two owners from new and is offered fresh from a restoration carried out over the winter of 2006/2007. Work undertaken involved a complete renovation of the frame and cycle parts, as well as fitting a new piston and valves to the engine. Presented in ‘A1’ condition throughout, the machine is offered with current MoT certificate and Swansea V5 registration document.
