Beschreibung:

BSA introduced their unit-single range in 1959 as a long-overdue replacement for the C10 and C11, both dating from the 1930s. The new C15 was, in fact, not so new since it derived from the Triumph Terrier of 1954. Nevertheless the new bikes quickly became popular with the riding public and sales were good. DWP 948B is the mechanically-revised late sports version, hence the SS engine prefix, giving a usefully crisp performance with an improved appearance and larger tank. The subject of a careful rebuild in 2005 by its mature owner, this machine won a ‘Commended’ rosette at the 2006 Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Stafford show and has remained in show-worthy condition though the present MOT expired in 2007. Only for sale because of a new house, the BSA is complete with a V5C, Haynes and Pitman manuals, and is ready to ride this summer.
