Item features adjustable rear notch with fixed front blade sights in addition to rear toggle link mounted rear notch. Blued metal finish overall with straw trigger and magazine release. Receiver is dated "1915". Right barrel and frame show "{Imperial Eagle}" of Erfurt inspectors in addition to "{Crown}/Gothic "H"" and "{Crown}/Gothic "S"" markings. Markings show weakness from refinishing. Left side of breechblock marked with "{Imperial Eagle}" of DWM inspectors. Serial numbers to breechblock, toggle links, and related components do not match receiver but show the number "97". No number on ejector. Extractor marked "GELADEN". Serial number of barrel and receiver falls within known range for 1915 DWM Artillery Luger production. Barrel marked with barrel gauge number "8.84". Middle toggle link shows "DWM" marking. Magazine features a wood floorplate and knurled follower knob but has no production marks. Condition: Very Good as refinished. Bore is frosty with some patina and residue throughout. Overall metal finish shows edgewear with weakening around barrel and at muzzle. Gripstraps are a brown patina as are trigger and triggerguard. Left barrel shows light pitting filled in with bluing. Portion of right receiver shows a brown patina while interior has patina with some patches of oxidation. Feed ramp and interior receiver is bright with some gray discolorations. Wood grips have weakening to checkering at ends and show a slight gap between lower edge of left grip panel and frame. Magazine has gray discolorations overall with no sign of production stamps on wood floorplate. Action locks open and cycles.
