Louis-Gabriel-Eugène Isabey (French, 1803-1886) Two Studies of Boats in a Harbor Both stamped "VENTE/E.ISABEY" in red within a circle l.r., one inscribed and dated or numbered indistinctly l.r. One graphite and one in red pencil on tan paper, sheet sizes roughly 6 1/8 x 9 5/8 in. (15.7 x 24.5 cm),in a common frame. Condition: Toning, hinged to back mat along top edges of the reverse. Provenance: According to an inventory provided by the consignor, these works were purchased at Christie's, London, November, 1981.
