Beschreibung:

Introduced in 1943, the regulation permitting machines of up to 125cc to be ridden without a licence made this sector of the motorcycle market an important one for French manufacturers. Terrot's first offering was the Type EP, which debuted in 1946. The new '125' was powered by an overhead-valve engine, built in unit with a four-speed gearbox, which went into a rigid frame equipped with girder front fork. This was followed by the types FTE and ETPC, with hydraulically damped telescopic fork, and the ETD, which came with a dynamo and battery/coil ignition. In 1953 an 'economy' version – the ETM – was introduced, featuring flywheel magneto ignition and an un-damped front fork. Swinging-arm rear suspension distinguished the last of this series, the ETDS and ETM4S, both of which arrived in mid-1954. This ETM is offered with French Carte Grise normale and a comprehensive folder of technical information about the model.
