Vogue advertising shots were done for a 1959 'In the Bahamas' July feature, starring Carmen Dell'Orefice, and an editorial for Charnos Nylon fashion in Littlehampton, Wales including Parkinson's son as a model. Simon Parkinson is seen here in flipflops and goggles. He clearly had the same inventive humour as his father. Provenance: From the Angela Williams Archive, United Kingdom. Gifted directly from the artist to Williams, who was an assistant to Norman Parkinson during the time his studio was based in Twickenham, London.
