In-44 (323x 230 mm). 7 bois de Fernand Léger dont 3 à pleine pages hors texte et un sur la couverture. (Très léger reports.) Broché, couverture illustrée (angle inférieur froissé, infime fente en pied du dos). ÉDITION ORIGINALE DU PREMIER LIVRE DE MALRAUX, tirée à 112 exemplaires numérotés, signés par Malraux et Léger au justificatif. Un des 90 sur Hollande van Gelder, celui-ci le n° 56.
