Contemporary vellum, covers with a gilt pentaglyph and metope roll border on a blue wash background enclosing a braod inner border of repeated gilt swags composed of facing cornucopiae with ribbon ornament, smooth spine with gilt-lettered panel on a blue wash background, gilt-tooled with a lattice pattern, a gilt roll of pentaglyph and metope on a blue background at head and foot, edges gilt concealing a CONTEMPORARY FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF AN ENGLISH COUNTRY HOUSE (covers lightly soiled; some loss to blue on spine); modern quarter morocco folding case.
