1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Titre de circulation hollandais Châssis n° 6510951 - Belle patine - Dans la même collection depuis une vingtaine d'années - Une classique des sportives italiennes Bertone a réussi un coup de maître : existe-t-il plus pur, sportif et élégant que le coupé Giulietta sprint dévoilé en 1954 au Salon de Turin ? Avec le fameux moteur 1300 double arbre, c'est un cocktail qui ne pouvait que rencontrer le succès. Cette Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint a été livrée neuve en 1959, et importée aux Pays-Bas en 1993. L'actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition à la fin des années 1990 et, à cette époque, la voiture présentait la même patine qu'aujourd'hui. Nous supposons donc qu'elle a été restaurée et repeinte dans les années 1970 ou 1980, sachant que c'est une voiture qui ne présente pas de rouille ni de traces d'accident. Ces dernières années, elle a été entretenue par le mécanicien du propriétaire, qui possédait une soixantaine de voitures, principalement italiennes (Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lamborghini) et anglaises (Jaguar). A cause de son âge, il a décidé de se séparer d'une partie de sa collection. N'ayant pas tourné depuis quelques années, cette Giulietta Sprint a été confié à Jagpoint Soesterberg, aux Pays-Bas, pour une vérification et une mise à niveau. Les freins, la boîte de vitesses et le moteur sont en bon état et la voiture fonctionne très bien, prête à offrir à son nouveau propriétaire la vivacité et l'agilité qui la caractérise, avec le plaisir d'une patine que seules les années et l'histoire peuvent engendrer. This Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was delivered new in 1959, and was imported into the Netherlands in 1993. The current owner bought the car at the end of the 1990s, and it displayed the same patina that it does today. We therefore believe that the car must have been restored and repainted during the 1970s and 1980s, as it shows no signs of rust or damage. In recent years it has been maintained by the owner's mechanic. The owner, a collector with some sixty cars, the majority Italian (Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lamborghini) and English (Jaguar) has now decided, because of his age, to part with some of his cars. Having not been started for some years, this Giulietta Sprint was taken to Jagpoint Soesterberg in Holland for an inspection and recommissioning. The brakes, gearbox and engine are all in good condition and the car runs very well. It is ready to offer its new owner the agile and lively drive the model is known for, and the pleasure provided by a wonderful patina that only time and history can bring.
