Left side of receiver has a gold colored medallion with pictures of Boone and Crockett. A herd of buffalo is engraved in an oval panel. Western mountain scene engraved in extra oval panel. Engraving of Teddy Roosevelt and an unfurled scroll with The genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping the larger and more valuable wild creatures from total extermination. Right side of receiver has a gold colored engraved tape measure with the words Big Game Records Keeping. There is an oval panel depicting four bears and a mountain lion. Another oval pannel depicts five horned animal including cape buffalo, big horn sheep, mountain goat, American bison, and a white-tailed deer. Bottom of receiver has an oval depicting an elk and a moose and another oval with two deer and an elk. There is an unfurled gold colored scroll that says Fair Chase. Immediately below is an unfurled scroll that reads The ethical, sportsmanlike, and lawful pursuit and taking of any free ranging, wild, native, North American big game animal in a manner that does not give the hunter an improper advantage over such animals. Remainder of receiver is scroll engraved and ca one-half of the lever. Bolt is engraved Boone and Crockett Club and depicts a hunter with binoculars scoping a mountain range and remainder of bolt has the scroll engraving. Upper receiver tang has a riband marked 23/100. Bottom receiver tang is marked A&A Engraving Inc, Rapid City, South Dakota. Condition: This desirable firearm is as new and in its original box.
