Millais and other artists (some concerning portraits of Gladstone); James Russell Lowell, William T. Stead, Sir Henry Irving, Joseph Joachim, Louis Blanc, Andrew Lang, Michael Davitt, Auberon Herbert (2), Walter Besant; and signatures of Charles Darwin (autograph envelope for his letter to Gladstone, now BL Add. 4471:5), Tennyson & Browning (envelope fronts), Gladstone, Palmerston, Lord John Russell Robert Peel Queen Victoria ("The Queen"), and others, most tipped-in or laid down, a few loose, ink signature of Mary G. Burnett on front free endpaper, original green morocco album, gilt, rubbed, spine working loose, g.e., oblong 4to, 1870s - 80s (c. 100 pieces). *** Provenance: Mary G.
