A handsome copy, clean and flat, with just a bit of stress to spine; low-gloss cover, slightly miscut, inks a bit degraded on logo (CGC doesn't seem to deduct points for this, as one sometimes sees it on hi-grade CGC'd Harvey file copies). Off-white pages. Slab-worthy. Cover by Lee Elias. Stories and art by Warren Kremer, Abe Simon, Moe Marcus, Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio, and Rudy Palais. Planet of the Apes prototype: astronauts discover a strange planet overrun with beast-like creatures. The final panel depicts a ruined Statue of Liberty, revealing the planet to be Earth. Also: homoerotic panel depicts vampire sucking man's neck ("What warm, sweet blood, Paul! It heartens me greatly!"). Horror comics were a virtual repository of thinly-veiled fears, taboos, desires.
