Beschreibung:

To modernise the Triumph TR5 that had evolved from the Michelotti designed TR4, Triumph looked to produce a new modern body. They initially turned to Michelotti but the Italian was fully committed with other projects. Instead, Triumph commissioned Karmann of Germany. The task was difficult as Karmann had to produce a new body style whilst retaining much of the original structure. The restyle included a new nose, wings and a new tail. The result was the 'Kamm' tailed TR6 and was produced between 1969 and 1976. The Triumph TR6 became the best selling Triumph at the time with 94,619 units sold. This 1971 Triumph TR6 has had three owners from new; the last lady owner had the car for 37 years. It has always been very well maintained throughout and has recently undergone a cosmetic restoration which included replacing the front wings with new panels, repainting the car, restoring the interior and checking through the mechanics which resulted in replacing the fuel injection metering unit and pump. Finished in yellow with black interior, this TR6 is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which at the time of issue did not have any advisories and expires in October of this year and a file containing nearly all the MoT test certificates from new which verifies the mileage on the odometer. TR6's are fast appreciating in value and cars with low mileage are very rare, this is an opportunity to purchase a good car at a very reasonable price.
