Super-chancery 2° (302 x 213mm). Collation: a-b 8 c-z 6 & 6 8 (a1 blank, a2r life of Terence, a5r text with commentary, 8v colophon). 155 (of 156, without first blank) leaves. 58 lines of commentary. Type: 1:114R, 2:78R, 78 Greek. 3-8-line initials in red, sometimes in blue or green, the first four with contrasting decoration, paragraph marks and capital strokes in red. (Very light marginal dampstaining in some leaves, one marginal tear repaired.) Contemporary blindstamped pigskin-backed wooden boards (backstrip repaired), two brass fore-edge clasps fastening at the back. A fresh, tall copy. H 15410; BMC V, 322 (IB. 21329); IGI 9439. NO COPY IN AMERICA.
