(Additional engraved title in facsimile, lower fore-corner of Mm6 repaired with loss, some fore-margins cut close affecting a few woodcuts and text on I4-5, repaired hole in last leaf with some loss, page-numbers and ruled lines cut by the binder on pp. 2-3, some leaves washed.) Red morocco gilt by Bedford, gilt edges. FIRST COLLECTED EDITION. Pforzheimer 1006; STC 23725. William BROWE (1591-1643?). Britannia's Pastorals . London: George Norton, [1616?]-1616. 2 parts in one volume, 2° (268 x 166mm). Part one with engraved title by W. Hole, and 2 full-page emblematic engravings. Woodcut initials, typographical ornaments. (Engraved title soiled, with worming slightly affecting image and crude repairs at margins, P1 of part one with large crudely-repaired hole, laminated repairs on H2 and O3 of the same part, generally affected by damp, without initial blank.)
