A.D. a) SIX LAMPS. - Round body, long spout, small ring base; one or two filling holes; the tondos with Christian symbols: a lamb, palm, fish, XP and AW, ornamental decoration. Shoulder decoration: concentric circles, squares and triangles, rosettes, teardrops. Fissures on two lamps; slightly worn and encrusted in places. Type Hayes II A. b) LAMP MOULD. L. 19.2 cm. - Top half of a mould used in the production of lamps. Palm motif like that on the lamp with palms in a). Differentiated shoulder decoration. Worn. Provenance: Coll. Victor Winteler, Riehen, Switzerland, 1985–2010. - Labels on the base of two lamps: “C 31”, “C 32”, “WL 20”; and on the base of the mould: “C 29”. a) Cf.
