A clean copy (unfortunately with some worming), of this panorama of the Grand Canal of Venice divided into plates and followed by the work on Piazza San Marco. 2 parts in one volume, oblong folio (278 x 425mm). First work with title, dedications and descriptive text, plate with Corso del Canal Grande and 47 numbered plates that form a single panorama with splendid and detailed views of the Grand Canal of Venice; second work with title, descriptive text and 16 plates (tiny wormtrack in the inner margin of the first plates, small holes in the following plates and wormtracks that resumes from plate 36 to the end of the first work and starts again at the end of the second). Contemporary half calf over marbled boards, gilt title on spine (extremities lightly rubbed, some loss to spine).
