both covers with large central oval gilt ornament incorporating the Leiden crossed keys and corner acorns (Spoelder, Leiden 2), gilt and ribbed spine with the acorn repeated in 7 compartments, 4to.
Lacks the prize and ties; vellum sl. warped. On: Pauli Orosii presbyteri Hispani Adversus paganos Historiarum libri septem (...) illustravit Sigebertus Havercampus. Leiden, S. and J. Luchtmans, 1767, (38),634,(30) p., with several engr. illustrations of Roman coins (1x on the title). PiCarta lists 5 copies, but no copy at UB Leiden; (2) Panelled full vellum binding, both covers with the central gilt figure of Minerva, 8vo. Lacks ties. With folding engraved "Scholae Lugdunensis" prize filled out in pen, awarded to Adriano Waker, dated 1676, signed by P. van der Meer B. Groenendijck and two others (weak/torn on folds). On: Epictecti Enchiridium, Una cum Cebetis Thebani Tabula Graecè & Latinè: ex recensione Abrahami Berkelii (...). Leiden/Amsterdam, D., A. and A. à Gaasbeek 1670, (28),250,(1) p., with engr. frontisp. and large fold. engr. plate by Romeyn de Hooghe (Landwehr (De Hooghe) 6. Waterst. in inner blank margin at the beginning.
